Egham, 27th April 2009 – Storage media specialist, Verbatim, is launching a range of hardware-encrypted USB drives, solid state drives (SSD), portable hard drives and software-encrypted DVD discs that prevent the data saved on them being viewed by unauthorised people if they are ever lost or stolen.  The products are suitable for anyone needing to carry sensitive material in a digital format from government officials and hospital employees to company executives and administration staff.  Verbatim will be presenting the new range at the Infosecurity Show, Earls Court, London, (stand E100) on 28-30 April.

Egham, 5th March 2009 – Verbatim is launching a DVD that enables users to easily archive photos in just a few steps. The new PhotoSave DVD has integrated software that starts automatically when the DVD is inserted into a DVD burner and guides the user step-by-step through the process from choosing pictures to burning them to disc.
Verbatim First to Market with LightScribe-certified 8x DVD+R DL Media

Eschborn/Germany, 6 October 2008 –  Leveraging many of the same technologies that set the standard for high-speed DVD+R Double Layer (DL) disc performance, reliability and compatibility, Verbatim announced today the world’s first LightScribeŽ 8X DVD+R Double Layer (DL) discs.  At 8X speed, the industry’s fastest DVD DL burning speed, an entire 8.5GB single-sided disc can be filled to capacity in 15 minutesš or less. Verbatim will begin shipping LightScribe 8X DVD+R DL discs in November.
